One site that can lighten the load and save you a boatload of time is G2 Crowd.
G2 Crowd provides comparisons and real user reviews about a huge variety of cloud-based business services and software. Aimed at small and enterprise businesses, products reviewed are neatly organized into detailed categories ranging from Accounting to CRM to Supply Chain Management. Click on a category page, and there’s a very clever grid, sorting the general consensus of reviews, list of products/services and a Q & A section. For larger categories, such as CRM (customer relationship management), there are also very detailed product-to-product comparison reports available, for example Salesforce vs. Zoho. This can save a ton of research time if you are shopping for a new solution for almost any business application.
