Which plan is best for my business?
If you anticipate needing only occasional help with website updates, or have other team members helping out, Help Desk Express is for you. Express clients enjoy having more technical help when needed, while taking care of the ongoing monitoring of your website.
If you routinely need assistance with updating your site, Help Desk Support Pro is a cost-effective option, as it also includes up to 3 support hours each month. Additional services beyond the 3 included hours are invoiced at a reduces hourly rate.
Larger workgroups would benefit from a Help Desk Custom Fractional Webmaster service plan, as it incorporates a tailored service based on your unique needs. Help Desk Custom also includes three optional valuable services (legal policies, transactional mail and form protection) at no extra cost. In addition, extra services beyond the plan limits are invoiced at the lowest available hourly rate.
Do included plan hours roll over if unused?
The Help Desk Support Pro plan includes up to 3 support hours, however, available time does not roll over to the next calendar month if unused.
What payment methods do you accept?
All plans and additional services are billed to a credit card on file (Visa/MasterCard, American Express and Discover). In some cases, clients can pre-pay for plans with a check for annual plans.
Are discounts available for annual payment?
Annual billing plans are available for Help Desk Express plans. Annual payment is discounted at 30% off the monthly base plan. Please note the discount applies only to the subscription fee, and not additional requested support.
How is monthly billing handled?
All plans are billed monthly on the date of enrollment, so if you started a plan on the 23rd of the month, you will be automatically charged on that day of the month.
Additional requested services are billed separately on all plans on the 1st of each calendar month. You will receive a report on all time incurred with task details along with the invoice. Charges will be posted to your credit card on file after 3 business days (typically the 3rd – 5th of each calendar month.)
How can I request additional support?
Just send an email, or text to 484-314-8700. You will get an prompt acknowledgement with an estimate on turnaround. It’s best to include as much information as possible, and to batch requests as needed.
Clients on Support Pro or Custom plans can also send requests via Google Chat, Slack, or your usual project management tool (such as Asana, ClickUp, etc).
How is time tracked?
All client service time detail is tracked on a calendar-month basis for ease of tracking. All plan clients get a detailed time accounting report on the first of each calendar month, as needed, or anytime upon request.
What are the applicable hourly rates for each plan?
Help Desk Express clients will be billed $125 per hour for additional requested services. There is a 1 hour per calendar month minimum when extra support is requested.
Help Desk Custom Pro clients will be billed $115 per hour for additional support beyond the included 3 hours. Time is tracked in 15 minute increments.
Help Desk Custom clients will be billed at a sharply reduced rate for services beyond the included time on your plan. These terms are customized per client.
All plan clients get a detailed time accounting report on the first of each calendar month, as needed, or anytime upon request.
