Even the most technically adept team member may feel uncomfortable with performing domain record changes. After all, it’s not something that you do every day! Add in different registrars, DNS service providers and subdomains, and confusion can easily arise. What’s worse, making a mistake will immediately impact the functioning of your website, email and more.

Your service is scheduled at a time of your choosing. This is especially helpful for time-sensitive updates for website IP changes (A records) and email (MX).

You will receive documentation of your current domain records, for your reference.

Your service fee covers up to 25 specific record updates/additions, and can be shared across multiple domains or subdomains as needed.
Why is the DNS Update service pre-scheduled?
When you purchase any Quick-Book service, you select a time and day that works for you – and you’re service is committed to my calendar. With DNS changes, many are timing-sensitive, so pre-scheduling works well! Please note availability may vary week to week.
Why would I need the DNS Update service?
DNS is the detail that makes the Internet work! Everything from websites to email to verifications and more rely on it. Most commonly, email service changes, domain verifications (such as Google Search Console), hosting and other situations need correct DNS records for your domain to function.
How much advance notice do I need to schedule?
The DNS update service can be scheduled for as little as 1 business day’s notice. The time between your reservation and the service itself it used to gather all information I need from you to make the updates. Please note this may vary based on weekly availability.
How do you keep my login information secure?
Data security is a top priority here! I gather your login information via an encrypted messaging form. You can also use a tools such as Bitwarden Send or Gmail’s Confidential Mode to relay your login info. In many cases, you can invite me to be a “delegate” user on your registrar account, which facilitates login security.
What payment methods do you accept? Can you invoice me later?
All major credit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Please note that post-service invoicing is not available for Quick-Book services.
I purchased and scheduled a service but need to cancel. Can I get a refund?
Refunds will be processed if you decide to cancel and not reschedule, assuming at least two hours notice is provided.

This service is being offered at an introductory rate of $195.
How do I pay for the DNS Update Service?
Payment is made at the time you schedule your service, using a major credit card.
What information do you need to complete the update?
Within a few minutes of booking, you will receive a detailed email with additional information and next steps to send login information, etc..
How much time is allocated for the service?
The service usually requires a short phone call to confirm what result you’re looking for, and time to gather logins, etc. A maximum of 3 hours time is blocked to complete the service (including the short call to confirm details). Please note the service in its entirety is performed during the scheduled time.
I purchased and scheduled a service, but need to change the time. Can I reschedule?
Yes, you can reschedule using a link provided in your confirmation email.
Can I contact you if I have an issue after the service is performed?

Yes! Please feel free to include up to three other colleagues for our call.
How much time is allocated for the service?
Our call will be 45 minutes, but additional time is allocated for followups. A maximum of 2 hours is blocked to complete the consultation. Please note the service in its entirety is performed during the scheduled time.

Assuming an applicable license is available, your site will be updated. In some cases, updates are not advised due to the age of the site, hosting configuration or other factors.

If ProVirtual Solutions developed your website, yes; assuming an update license is available. In some cases, updates are not advised due to the age of the site or other factors. Please note that a complete backup is performed on the site before any updates are made.
